Ok, I know what you are saying. ''Crap - another flood claiming to have a million fonts and all I get are corrupted fonts and 800 copies of Arial.ttf.''

Not this flood.

IMPORTANT INFO - PLEASE READ IT ALL.  QUESTIONS ASKED THAT ARE ANSWERED HERE WILL BE IGNORED.

This flood is grouped according to the first two characters of the file name.  Each font is named using a program (not written by me) to pull the actual file name from the font.  Every single one is renamed this way BEFORE it is sorted.  You won't have to rename anything once everything is extracted.

I wrote a batch file that goes through every renamed files and sorts them into a folder named according to the first 2 characters.

Foreign fonts with non-English characters may show up as [][][].ttf and could appear strewn throughout the collection.  I don't speak any foreign languages, so I cannot sort them properly. 

There is a Foreign font folder that has various folders named according to the language. 

There may be fonts in there that do not belong.  If you find any, feel free to tell me so I can correct it.  Just PM me the exact name of the font, the folder it is in now and the folder it should be in.  Thanks.

Each group was RAR'd like they are so that the people who just needed something starting with AA for example could take just those instead of having to download 600 Meg RAR of all fonts starting with A.

There are only .TTF, .OTF and .TTC fonts in the collection.  There are NO Type 1 fonts.

This will ONLY be posted to RapidShare.  Pay the money.  The value of this collection SO FAR OUTWEIGHS the cost of an RS membership it isn't even funny.

The *ONLY* duplicate files you will find here are if there is a FONTNAME.TTF and FONTNAME.OTF.  It is possible that there could be these types of duplicates.  BUT - you won't find 800 copies of FONTNAME.TTF and FONTNAME.OTF.

Here is a PDF of a file listing. It is 99.9% correct.  (As I was compressing this set, I found a few fonts placed around that should have been sorted, mostly single character filenames that the sorting program I wrote didn't handle.  I think there's about 10 or 20 files.)

There are over 256,400 fonts in this collection.  The entire uncompressed space is 24.6G.

Every folder is RAR'd regardless if it is empty or not.  An empty folder means there were NEVER any fonts in it.

Generally, I will only answer questions pertaining to the RAR files themselves, such as if they disappear.  I will keep all the RAR's indefinitely on DVD backups.

And before you ask, NO I will not burn you a set.

This is an unprecedented collection that has NEVER been posted anywhere before.
